Refund, Warranties and Cancellations

Online businesses selling products are required to present their product return policy and refund policy. This is important in order to comply with consumer protection regulations. It avoids claims by customers that are not satisfied with products they purchase. Please note that many websites dealing with sale of physical goods establish a refund policy as a separate document. This normally includes more instructions and information on the procedures for returns and refunding.
Cancellations can be completed within 5 days from the point of ordering. A restocking fee of £50 will be charged once inspection has been conducted and a refund agreed, this can be done within 7 days of receiving your order. Refunds can take 28 days for processing once items are returned to our supplier for refunding.
Warranties:
Warranty will only cover for Hardware Failure of original parts used to build the PC by Merker technicians.
All NEW computers have a 1 year parts warranty and 3 year labour warranty, this covers all parts included within the PC that was with the computer at the time of purchase. NO third party components will be covered in the warranty - it is also important to note that if 3rd party or upgraded/different components are added/modified this will void your warranty. The warranty is only valid if no tampering, altering, upgrading or modifications have taken place on the original order. Each computer has anti-tamper void stickers in discrete points, please do not open the computer unless advised to by one of our technicians. Warranties begin from the date of receiving the product. On receiving a valid claim under warranty, will entitle the customer to full repairs back to original state, if the parts can not be sourced equilvent or upgraded parts may be used. The warranty entitles you to full repair back to original functioning order and not a refund. If it was established that the faulty part/workings of the computer were due to user error this cost will be for the customer to cover. Shipping to our workshop will be at customers expense, return will be from Merker Computers expense unless damage/fault was established to be that of the customers.

For computers that receive a virus or issues surrounding software or files that caused adverse affect on the PC is not covered under the warranty.

**IF any side panel has been opened at any time from purchase this will void your warranty**

Lastly complications involving lack of knowledge or experience by the user is not a computer fault and as such Merker Computers will not take liability or responsibility for these issues.

All USED computers have a 1 month parts and 1 year labour warranty. Same conditions as above.
